THRILLER CASE STUDY: ESSEX BOYS

Here is a case study on the English crime thriller 'Essex Boys' here I reflected on how the director establishes the thriller genre in the film. I can now reflect on the techniques used to promote suspense and anticipation through devices such as foreshadowing and use them in my thriller film.

  2. Well organised with splendid references to examples to illustrate your points. You confidently identify and explain the way Windsor strongly establishes the genre of the film whilst also indicating an excellent understanding of thriller conventions.

Your analysis is persuasive and intelligent particularly with regard to lighting, locations and generic archetypes.
