Here is a case study on the English crime thriller 'Essex Boys' here I reflected on how the director establishes the thriller genre in the film. I can now reflect on the techniques used to promote suspense and anticipation through devices such as foreshadowing and use them in my thriller film.

THRILLER CASE STUDY: ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA
To plan for our thriller we decided to look at a few case studies to familiarise ourselves with the thriller genre and how the genre is established in films. Here is my case study on the gangster thriller 'Once Upon a Time in America'.
